Developmental Pickup Hockey (DPH) is an all gender recreational hockey group that aims to develop skills and on-ice confidence. Created for a 40+ crowd with beginner and intermediate skill levels, DPH gives you the opportunity to improve your game and have fun on the ice without the pressure of making mistakes. Our unique approach incorporates both skills training and pickup games. Typically, each skate lasts 65 minutes and consists of an on-ice warmup, 10 minutes of drills, and a 45-minute pickup game.

Our season has two sessions per year: a summer/fall session running from October to December, and a winter/spring session running from January to April. We play at the Spryfield Lions Rink on Wednesdays and Fridays at noon, from 12:00 to 1:15 pm.
